About Shree Balaji Foods & Caterer
How it started...
Late Vishram Kalwankar started two food stalls in 1975. One stall was for Mumbai’s famous and staple go to food Vada Pav and another was for South India’s star food Dosa. These stalls were located at the bustling Mangaldas Market, one of the oldest textile markets.
Many employees, workers, traders frequented these stalls to satisfy their daily hunger and are still visit today for their essential daily bite.

On 2010, Shree Balaji Foods and Caterer was started with full catering services. Specialized in catering buffet, live counters, bulk-food orders, ala-carte and more. Shree Balaji Foods and Caterer have sucessfully catered many events, parties and functions.
Our Mission
Our mission at Shree Balaji Foods is to delight every customer with flavours of Mumbai through our food. We also intend to serve hygienic, delicious food with shortest possible delivery time.
Since 2018, Shree Balaji Dosa Factory started unique concept of food experience ‘Flying Dosa’. Since then our stall is mostly known as Flying Dosa food stall and has been a viral sensation. Covered by most of the main stream news media through TV, magazines and newspapers. Many digital bloggers and influencers visit and experience our dishes.
